Big Sky Community School is a new, in-person learning community for Aeon School students located in Big Sky, Montana. Designed to complement Aeon’s flexible, online academic model, our school provides a structured learning environment where students can continue their Aeon coursework while benefiting from in-person supervision, peer connection, and the rhythms of a hybrid school day.
We have recently opened our permanent location at 211 Town Center Ave in Big Sky and currently serve 32 local K-12th students who attend daily. In addition to our local community, we are excited to welcome Aeon students from around the globe who are visiting Big Sky and looking for a place to connect during their time here.

For many students, joining us is a meaningful opportunity to form in-person relationships with cohort classmates, building real connection, collaboration, and a sense of belonging that complements their virtual learning experience.
Visiting students may also have the opportunity to join us for select enrichment activities such as skiing, ceramics, volunteering, and time at the Big Sky Community Center, depending on timing and availability.
Whether your family is in Big Sky for a few days or several weeks, our goal is to make academic continuity simple while helping students form connections and enjoy everything Big Sky has to offer.
